Coffee tables... essential in every living room for storing coffee, candles and clutter (if you're anything like me that is). This post displays 10 of the best coffee tables that I have come across recently, that would be great additions to update your home decor. I'm particularly fond of a round coffee table, and having one in my own living room has been popular on Instagram (if you're not already following my Instagram you can find me @cloud_interiors). You can often end up heavy on the angles and straight lines if you have a large sofa or a corner sofa, and then an angular TV unit too, so a round coffee table breaks this up and balances it out more.
I'm absolutely loving parquet at the moment and I'm seeing more and more of these parquet top coffee tables such as the two above. Dark wood is also popular, particularly walnut, as is a marble table top... who doesn't love a bit of marble to add some glamour to their living room?!
I've also included a really low cost Ikea 'Vittsjo' coffee table because I have seen some amazing hacks done to it on social media. A particular favourite is spraying it gold. Just type in 'Vittsjo hack' on Pinterest and you'll see some great upcycled examples across the whole Vittsjo range.
